LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 (Ages 9-17)

ev3projectss

Experience the The LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 program during Robotics Summer Camp! Students will spend the week building and programming robots, and experience additional arts activities as we transition from STEM-based learning to STEAM-based learning. There will be field trip options allowing students to understand the real world applications of STEM!
Advanced curricula is available for returning students.

At IRIS, we provide students with educational STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning programs using LEGO Robotics technology!   The camp structure will provide students with the time and resources required to work with their peers, create complex designs and participate in challenges and activities. Students will explore STEM topics beyond the classroom, create real world applications and discover the countless career opportunities in related fields.

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 provides an introduction to robotics for students with no programming background using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 kits. Students will construct, program and control robots through investigative and exploration activities. Additionally, they will be encouraged to seek information and their research activities will expose them to the engineering process. They will be introduced to concepts such as coding, looping, decision making and flow control as they utilize the visual drag and drop programming interface. Students will discover the projects that offer challenging designs and levels of complexity.
