Summer Camp Discount Policy

Multiple student discounts:
  • 2 students: 5% discount before tax
  • 3-4 students: 10 % discount before tax
  • 5-6 students: 15% discount before tax
  • 7 + or more students: 20% discount before tax
Multiple weeks registrations:
  • 2 weeks: 5% discount before tax
  • 3 to 4 weeks: 10% discount before tax
  • 5 to 6 week: 15% discount before tax
  • 7 + weeks: 20% discount before tax

 

Summer Camp Refund Policy:

  • Please see refund policy below.
  • Cancellation of multiple week registrations:
    • If a multiple week registration is cancelled mid-way, any multi-week discounts applied will be removed from the registration amount.
    • Example: The per week price is $200 + HST and a student registers for 8 weeks of summer camp and receives a 20% discount (please see discount policy). The total registration fee is $1280.00 + HST. The student completes 4 weeks and cannot complete the remaining four weeks.
    • The cost of a 4 week registration and a 10% discount is $720 + HST. The student will be refunded $560.00 + HST (1280.00-720.00).

 

Refund Policy:

The following refund policy is applicable to all on-site services provided by the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS).

  • If the student cancels one week (7 days) before the start of program session, workshop or camp, 75% of the fee will be refunded.
  • If the student cancels 24 hours before the start of the program session, workshop or camp, 50% of the fee will be refunded.
  • If the student cancels after the start of the program session, workshop or camp, the fee is not refundable. However, students have the opportunity to exchange their session, workshop or camp and attend another session, workshop or camp on a different date.
  • Registration fees for IRIS’ competitive robotics teams are non-refundable.

 

The following refund policy is applicable to all off-site services provided by the Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS).

  • Registration for off-site camp sessions will require a 25% deposit of the estimated number of students or the minimum number of students (10 students) per day. The deposit amount will be applied to the total service fee charger after completion of the sessions.
  • If the actual number of students is less than the deposit amount, the amount will be refunded to the off-site location.
  • If the off-site camp sessions are cancelled by May 31, the full deposit amount will be refunded.
  • If the off-site camp sessions are cancelled after May 31, 50% of the deposit amount will be refunded.
