The Raspberry Pi is small, cheap, single-board computer that opens a new door to computer exploration! The Raspberry Pi is a credit card sized computer that allows students to improve their programming and hardware skills. This level will allow students to explore multiple, easy to access and innovative projects. It can be embedded into innovative projects and has been used to build Internet-connected dispensers, low-res plotters, cell phone–operated coffeemakers, and a solar-powered computer. Students will obtain, configure and carry out simple tasks with a Raspberry Pi.
