C++ is a general-purpose language designed with object-oriented features while also providing capabilities for low-level memory management. It is a language used nearly everywhere, such as systems programming, scientific computing, game development, desktop applications, etc. It’s an easy-to-grasp language that will introduce students to basic Object-Oriented design as well as basic programming skills that will apply to many other programming languages. Students will learn concepts such as basic I/O, flow control, data manipulation, and programming design. Students will be able to craft programs that are fun, intuitive, and applicable to real-world problems and situations.
