Course Objective
The course will help students in exploring design engineering with more advanced mechanisms, structures, and forces.
It will help promote students’ fundamental STEM understanding of simple and powered machines, structures, and mechanisms.
Course Description
The Simple and Powered Machines educational set introduces students to a fundamental understanding of simple machines, structures and mechanisms.
Students will be encouraged to build and explore real-life machines, mechanisms and structures and analyze the real-world applications and connections.
This set allows students to utilize experiments to investigate and understand the principle mechanics defining machines.
Students will experiment with balanced and unbalanced forces, friction, experience capturing, storing and transferring wind energy, and measure distance, time, speed and weight.
