Course Overview
3D Printing is lot of fun and, at the same time provides valuable knowledge and stimulating creative thinking. CAD for kids can teach children virtual thinking, problem solving and STEAM based concepts.
The Program will help children to 3D design their best ideas.
The 3D Printer service is included in the course.
Children will be able to print and take home a 3D Printed model.
The children will be working on Computer Aided Designing (CAD) software to create 3D material. The kids will learn the basics of object manipulation, merging, resizing, rotation, and more… and then move towards advanced functions
Skills taught: Learn how to design and print in 3D, drag and drop, place and combine shape etc.
The Program:
- Explain the basic concept of how 3D Printer works
- Lean x, y, and z coordinate with respect to 3D Printing
- Create a 3D Model for printing with measurements
- Model basic CAD Features
- Export the file for 3D Printing
- Modify sizes of CAD Model
- Flip and duplicate features & much more

Age Group: 5 Years to 7 Years
This is an ongoing 8 weeks program where kids will attend a 1.5-hour class every week at one of our locations. Depending on the learning pace of the child the course might need to be extended for satisfactory learning.
