Course Overview
At IRIS students are taught to use JavaScript beginning from fundamentals to advance level. JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-oriented scripting language used to make webpages interactive (e.x. having complex animations, clickable buttons, popup menus, etc.). There are also more advanced server side versions of JavaScript such as Node.js which allow you to add more functionality to a website than simply downloading files (such as real-time collaboration between multiple computers). Inside a host environment (for example, a web browser), JavaScript can be connected to the objects of its environment to provide programmatic control over them.
JavaScript is a very powerful client-side scripting language. JavaScript is used mainly for enhancing the interaction of a user with the webpage. In other words, you can make your webpage more lively and interactive, with the help of JavaScript. JavaScript is also being used widely in game development and Mobile application development.

Age Group: 8 Years to 12 Years
This is an ongoing 8 weeks program where kids will attend a 1.5-hour class every week at one of our locations. Depending on the learning pace of the child the course might need to be extended for satisfactory learning.
